TM 5-4320-305-10 Section III.  OPERATION UNDER USUAL CONDITIONS 2-4. ASSEMBLY AND PREPARATION FOR USE a. The  pumping  assembly  comes  fully  assembled,  ready  for  use  after  attaching  the  suction  and  discharge hoses. b. The  operator  must  know  how  to  perform  every  operation  of  which  the  unit  is  capable.    The  following paragraphs contain instructions on starting and stopping the unit, operation of the pump assembly, and coordinating the basic  motions  to  perform  the  specific  tasks  for  which  the  equipment  is  designed.    Since  nearly  every  job  presents  a different problem, the operator may have to vary given procedures to fit an individual job. 2-5. INITIAL ADJUSTMENTS AND DAILY CHECKS a. Be  sure  that  parking  brakes  are  set.    Pull hand brake lever (1) toward the front end of the trailer. b. Loosen studs on control panel cover door.  Lift door. c. Position controls as follows: (1) SET     POINT     switch     (1)     to     OFF position; turn all the way to the left. (2) MODE    SELECT    switch    (2)    up    in MANUAL position. (3) Engine START/STOP switch (3) down at STOP position. 2-65
