INSPECTION:
Handling a hot muffler can cause severe burns. Allow unit
to cool before handling.
two screws (1) and washers (2).
heat shield (3).
three screws (4) and washers (5).
protective screen (6).
two nuts (7).
muffler (8) and gasket (9). Discard gasket (9).
Inspect screws, nuts, washers, heat shield, protective screen, and muffler for rust, corrosion, or
other damage. Replace if necessary.
