Explanation of Columns in the Tabular List of Maintenance and Operating supplies -- Section III.
a. Component Application Column 1. This column identifies the component application of each maintenance or
operating supply item.
b. Federal Stock Number. Column 2. This column indicates the Federal stock number assigned to the item and
will be used for requisitioning purposes.

Description, Column 3. This column indicates the item name and brief description.
d. Quantity Required for Initial Operation, Column 4. This column indicates the quantity of each maintenance or
operating supply item required for initial operation of the equipment.
e. Quantity Required for 8 Hours Operation, Column 5. This column indicates the estimated quantities required for
an average 8 hours of operation.

Notes, Column 6. This column indicates informative notes keyed to data appearing in a preceding column.
