Table 3-1. Operator Troubleshooting
NOTE
Be sure to read ALL Warnings in front of manual before troubleshooting.
MALFUNCTION 1. DISTILLATION UNIT OR FLASH POINT TESTER HEATER WILL NOT
HEAT.
Check heater control knob for correct setting.
Set control knob as required (rotating
knob to the left increases heat).
Check heater electrical cord for loose or disconnected plug at extension cord
receptacle.
Reconnect heater electrical cord plug
to extension codrd receptacle.
Check electrical extension cord for loose or disconnected plug at power source.
Reconnect extension cord plug to
power source.
Check for loss of electrical power at power source.
Use alternate power source.
If malfunction cannot be corrected, notify unit maintenance.
