9. Make sure gaskets inside coupling halves (8) are not damaged or missing. Connect gate valves
(5) to hoses (2) and push down lever arms (9) to secure in place. Make sure gate valves (5) are
closed (hand-wheel turned to full clockwise position) and dust caps (10) are installed.
