To prevent injury to personnel, wear protective gloves when installing bumper.
Bumper must be softened in hot water and installed while still hot. Failure to wear
protective gloves could result in serious bums.
(16) Soak new bumper (1) in hot water (160 - 180° F (71 - 82° C) unfit soft. While still soft and pliable, press
bumper onto collar (3).
(17) Apply teflon tape on threads of plugs (18) and install plugs into body (6).
(18) Install continuity clip (28). Be sure clip is laying on lip as shown in figure 5-4.

(19) Connectto inlet elbow per paragraph4-7.
(20) Install bonding cable assembly per paragraph 4-8.
