Petrolatum(Appendix  F, item  5) -  Dry  cleaning   solvent  used to  clean parts  is Back-upring  (Appendix  J, item 7) potentially dangerous   to   personnel   and property. Do  not  use near open  flame  or O-Ring(Appendix  J, item 8) excessive heat.  Use in  well  ventilated  area. O-Ring(Appendix  J, item 9) -   To   prevent   injury    to   personnel,   wear protective   gloves  when  installing   bumper. CotterPin  (Appendix   J, item  10) Bumper   must  be softened  in  hot  water  and installed  while   still   hot.    Failure  to  wear CotterPin  (Appendix  J, item  11) protective   gloves   could   result   in   serious burns. NOTE Disassemble  equipment   only  to the  extent  necessary for  repair. a. Disassembly F@__M Exert  caution  when  using  cutting  tool  to  prevent personal  injury  and damage to part. (1)    Remove Collar  Bumper (1)  by  cutting through the bumper. NOTE To  prevent  loss  of   balls  and  aid  assembly, place  a suitable  container  under  body opening.    Catch all  balls  as they  fall  from  opening. (2)   Remove Screw(2).  Hold  thenozzlecollar  (3) with bolt hole vertical  (pointed down) and allow  all balls (4) to  be removed  through  the bolt  hole.   Manipulate  nozzle  collar  to  allow  49 balls  to fall  out of  hole. (3)    Engagenozzlecollar  (3) to adapter(5). 5-2
