TM 10-4930-232-12&P Leakage Definitions: Class I Seepage of fluid (as indicated by wetness or discoloration) not great enough to form drops. Class II Leakage of fluid great enough to form drops but  not  enough  to  cause  drops  to  drip  from item being checked/inspected. Class III Leakage     of     fluid     great     enough     to     form     drops     that     fall     from     the     item     being checked/inspected. Item Interval Item to Be Procedure Not Fully Mission No. Checked or If: Serviced 1 Before Gate valves Check for leaks at seal, gasket Leaks are observed or or fittings.  Hardware missing or hardware is unservice- damaged able. 2 Before Wye and tee assemblies Check for leaks at seal, gasket Leaks are observed or or fittings.  Hardware missing or hardware is unservice- damaged able. 3 Before Couplings Check for leaks at seal, gasket Leaks are observed or or fittings.  Hardware missing or hardware is unservice- damaged able. 4 Before Hoses Check for breaks, cracks, dete- Hose(s) unserviceable rioration or damage. 5 Before Quick-acting valves Check for leaks at seal, gasket Leaks are observed or or fittings.  Hardware missing or hardware is unservice- damaged able. 6 Before Collapsible tanks Refer to PMCS in applicable technical manual. 7 Before Filter/separators Refer to PMCS in applicable technical manual. 8 Before Pumps Refer to PMCS in applicable technical manual. 9 Before Nozzles Refer to PMCS in applicable technical manual. 10 During Gate valves Check for leaks at seal, gasket Leaks are observed or or fittings.  Hardware missing or hardware is unservice- damaged able. 11 During Wye and tee assemblies Check for leaks at seal, gasket Leaks are observed or or fittings.  Hardware missing or hardware is unservice- damaged. able. 12 During Hoses Check for breaks, cracks, Hose(s) unservicable deterioration or damage. Change 2  2-3
