Perform lubrication of the engine
prior to or in conjunction with Before
PMCS. Refer to LO 9-2805-257-12.
Keep engine and pump free of dirt
and oil on all external surfaces.
Make the following walk-around
checks:

Check for fuel and oil
leakage.
Check that hoses and fuel
lines are secure and properly
installed. Check for leaks.
Check for separation of
material, blisters and cuts.
Check that nozzles and fittings
are secure and properly
installed. Check for damage,
badly scored surfaces, and
missing hardware.
Check grounding cables for
loose connections, corrosion,
and damage.
Check for loose or missing
hardware, broken or cracked
parts, and damage.
Equipment is Not
Ready/Available if:
Class Ill oil or any fuel
leakage.
Hoses and fuel lines are not
secure or separation of
material, blisters or cuts are
present.
Nozzles or fittings are
improperly installed, badly
scored or missing
hardware.
Cable is missing or
damaged.
Hardware is missing or
damaged.
