No   special   preservation   procedures   are   required   for   the   350   GPM   pumping   assembly. 4.19  PACKING. No   special   packing   procedures   are   requiered   for   the   350   GPM   pumping   assembly. 4.20  MARKING. Refer   to   MIL-STD-129   for   information   on   marking. 4.21 a . b . c . d . STORAGE. Store   equipment   so   as   to   provide   maximum   protection   from   the   elements   and   to provide   access   for   inspection,   maintenance,   and   servicing. Take   into   account   environmental   conditions,   such   as   extreme   cold   or   heat,   high humidity,   blowing   snow,   earthquakes,    or   combinations   thereof,   and   take adequate   precautions. Placement   of   equipment   in   administrative   storage   should   be   for   short   periods of   time   when   a   shortage   of   maintenance   effort   exists. Items   should   be   in mission  readiness  within  24  hours  or  within  the  time  factors  as  determined  by the   directing   authority. During   the   storage   period   appropriate   maintenance records   will   be   kept. Before   placing   equipment   in   administrative   storage,   current   preventive maintenance   checks   and   services   should   be   completed,   shortcomings   and deficiencies   should   be   corrected,   and   all   modification   work   orders   (MWO’s) should   be   applied. 4-137/(4-138  blank)
