Installation.
(1) Install two brackets (19) using four screws (18),
eight flat washers (17), four lockwashers (16),
and four nuts (15).
(2) Install four spacers (14) and bracket (13) using
four screws (12), eight flat washers (11), and
four self-locking nuts (10).
WARNING
Cooling
air
compartment
is
heavy.
Ensure
cooling
air
compartment
is
securely supported and removed by three
people, or injury to personnel could result.
(4) Two soldiers support cooling air compartment
(9), another soldier hooks support arms and
installs cooling air compartment using shims (8)
using six screws (7), 12 flat washers (6), six
lockwashers (5), and six nuts (4).
(5) Install hose (3) on intake manifold and secure
using hose clamp (2).
(6) Close cooling air compartment (9) and secure
by latching rubber hooks (1).
