Air discharge compartment is heavy. Get
Materials/Parts
help to lift or carry compartment.
Solvent, dry-cleaning, P-D-680, type II, item 15,
appendix E
Screen may be hot. Use gloves if working
Lockwasher (26) MS35338-45
on unit which is still hot.
Personnel Required
Wear personal protective equipment
Two
when using cleaning solvent.

Removal.
NOTE
Cage nuts should not be removed unless damaged.
(1)
Remove 13 screws (1), 13 lockwashers (2), 13 flat washers (3), and 13 cage nuts (4).
WARNING
Air discharge compartment is heavy. Ensure air discharge compartment is securely supported and
removed by two people, or injury to personnel could result.
(2)
Two soldiers lift air discharge compartment (5) from roof (6) of unit.
