TM 10-4320-324-14 5-20.  Cooling Fan Repair/Replacement (CONT). b. Disassembly. (1) Remove nut (1), bolt (2), pulley (3), roller (4), and shaft (5). (2) Remove ring (6), two bearings (7 and 8), and bushing (9)   from jacket (10). c. Cleaning/Inspection. WARNING Dry  cleaning  solvent  P-D-680  is  toxic  and  flammable.    Wear  protective  goggles  and  gloves  and  use  only  in  a  well ventilated  area.    Avoid  contact  with  skin,  eyes,  and  clothes  and  don't  breathe  vapor.    Do  not  use  near  open  flame  or excessive heat.  The flash point is 100°F-138°F (38°-50°°C).  If you become dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air  immediately  and  get  medical  aid.    If  contact  with  eyes  is  made,  wash  your  eyes  with  water  and  get  medical  aid immediately. (1) Clean all parts with P-D-680 and wipe clean with cloth. (2) Inspect roller and jacket for cracks.  If cracks are found replace defective part. (3) Check inside of jacket for signs of wear, indicating worn bearings.  If signs are present, replace defective bearing. d. Assembly. (1) Fill bearings (7 and 8) with grease and install one bearing into jacket (10) with enclosed side to front. (4) Install shaft (5) in bearing (7) and bushing (9) on shaft. (5) Fill space between bushing (9) and jacket (10) with grease. (6) Install bearing (8) into jacket (10) so that closed side seats against bushing (9). (7) Install ring (6) into groove. 5-64
