Multimeter, section III, item 33, appendix B Negative battery cable disconnected (para 4- 30). Materials/Parts Tags, identification: item 17, appendix E Lockwasher - MS35338-45 Lockwasher - 20-111 a. Testing. (1)   Connect multimeter as shown. (2)   Start unit (para 2-7). (3)   Operate unit at 2400 RPM. (4)   Check voltage at terminal A.  Voltage should read between 13.8 to 14.8 volts. (5)   If voltage reading not within range, remove and replace alternator. 4-106
