Lockwasher (2) - MS35338-45
Muffler retains extreme heat in operation. Wait
for engine to cool before performing procedure.
a.
Removal.
(1) Loosen hose clamp (1) and slide off bracket
(2).
(2) Remove two nuts (3), clamp base (4), and
u-bolt (5).
(3) Remove muffler (6).
NOTE
Remove muffler support only if replacement is needed.
(4) Remove two nuts (7), two flat washers (8),
two lockwashers (9), two screws (10), two flat
washers (11), and muffler support (12).
