TM 10-4320-311-14 SERVICE: a. Thoroughly wash the fuel injection pipe (3) in diesel fuel.  Insure that line is clear. b. Wipe with clean, lint-free cloth. INSTALLATION: a. Position fuel injection pipe (3) between fuel injection nozzle (2) and fuel injection pump (1).  Position the pipe so that the fittings line up. b. Carefully hand tighten pipe connectors.  Tighten slowly, taking care not to strip the fittings. NOTE Air can enter the fuel pipe system when the engine Is first Installed, the fuel pipe removed, etc.  No air  bleeding  will  be  required  when  the  fuel  tank  runs  out  of  fuel.   Bleed  the  air  according  to  the following instructions: (1) Place the speed control handle in the run position. (2) Set the decompression lever to the non-compression position. (3) Make  sure  fuel  comes  out  from  the  fuel  injection  nozzle  while  the  recoil  starter  is  pulled.    The  injection sound can be heard. INSPECTION: Carefully inspect the fuel injection pipe connections for leaks Tighten as necessary. 4-54
