3.
Lubricate Speed Reducer per one of steps below:
a.
Check level of lubricant (before starting) per steps below:
(1) Shut down 200/600 GPM Flammable Liquid Low Temperature Pump if operating.
(2) Remove level indicator cap, pull up on indicator until magnetic field holds indicator.
NOTE
If level indicator shows 1 to 8 add lubricant (2-1/2 marks
on indicator equals one quart)
(3) Add lubricant per Table 3, if level indicator is below 8-1/2.
(4) Push down on indicator and install level indicator cap.
b.
Drain and refill lubricant (semiannually) per steps below:
(1)
Shut down 200/600 GPM Flammable Liquid Low Temperature Pump if operating.
(2)
Place container (to hold lubricant) under drain.
(3)
Remove drain cap.
(4)
Remove fill cap.
(5)
Install drain cap after lubricant has drained.
(6)
Replace oil filter, refer to TM 10-4320-342-24.
(7)
Add lubricant per Table 3.
(8)
Install fill cap.
Copy of this Lubrication Order will remain with the equipment at all times; instructions contained herein are
mandatory.
